Maternity

Maternity sessions can be scheduled anytime during the pregnancy, but the most popular time frame is typically at 32-35 weeks.  The session may take place at any location in the Houston area and can include additional family members.

Newborn

Most newborn sessions take place when the baby is about 5 days-2 weeks old.  They take place in the families home, incorporating their nursery, blankets, family, etc.  I like to do a combination of lifestyle type images with the family as well as the more "posed" images of baby.  If desired, I will bring additional props, wraps, blankets and anything else that we discuss in our initial consultation.  If for any reason you would like the session to be held outside the home then arrangements can be made.  

Birth + Fresh 48

Birth and Fresh 48 both take place in the hospital, birth center, or wherever you plan to birth.  These sessions are extra special (and also my favorite) because this time is usually such a blur for parents.  It is a wonderful thing for me to provide you with these images, so full of love and emotion, for you to look back upon and remember one of the most important days of your lives.  

With birth photography, I will basically be on call around your due date, so it is important to keep me updated with any changes or progress that is made.  Due to the uncertainty of timing, I will only be scheduling 2-3 births per month, so it is best to schedule this as early as possible.  

Fresh 48 sessions take place in the hospital within 48 hours after birth.  I will capture all the details of your little one as well as photos with family and baby.  These sessions are generally not as posed or edited as a typical newborn session, just quick, natural images of baby's first hours here.
